Inspiration for .. electric movie blue ... days

Now to start this off I just want to note that electric blue is one of my all time favorite colors ... along with pale orange and forest green , but what I really want to talk about is how wonderful Wes Anderson is and how amazing my 21st birthday would be if I had it at a roller rink. Random yes, but then again when am I ever not random.

These are all movies I love and men I love and things I love, so why not have an electric blue 70's themed movie madness 21st birthday. It could possibly be the nerdiest geekfest ever apart from any sort of Trekkie convention, but at least I have a goal to ponder. Also, Wes Anderson's bowtie is more amazing then anything I own. Period. Linkage below:

Inspiration for ... pastel girly travel ... days

Some days call for adventure, some night require dreaming and when both of these combine girly beige lovers like me dream of adorable days in the nicest breezy spots. Why shouldn't librarians battle Zombies? Why can't we make art out of food. The fact that I look adorable in a vintage swimwear doesn't mean I can't hike through a desert. The fact that I paint everything in florals doesn't mean I'm afraid to get my hair wet.

My favorite from this cluster: #1 the rabbit made of carrots. There's just something about edible art that thrills me. Maybe it's because it doesn't last forever, yet it does because some genius invented the art of photography to make edible art now (strangely) permanent. Also, carrots are very nutritious. Happy Holidays?

I hope everyone had a very merry happy Christmas! My unplanned, but still lovely, blog vacation this holiday was wonderful ... but now, thankfully I have returned to schedule. I can only go so long without my clusters you know. I am personally addicted to my own collections of creations. That's a good sign right?
