11 Movies You'll Love on Valentines Days: #1

Happy February everybody! I'm so excited for this month... more then I usually am each year. I think my soul missed the lovely hearts and glitter of the whole Valentines Day "system" sigh. So so pretty isn't it... anywho, this is something that popped into my head a bit ago that I just HAD to do.

A movie list for Valentines Day! 11 awesome movies perfect for this candy and love holiday. I'll be posting 1 about every day until the 13th! Yay for consistency! AND don't worry about the variety. Trust me when I say that there is a movie on this list for you. I promise! It's got movies for V Day dreaders, Valentines fanatics and everyone in between.

So without further ado I give you...

#1 Amelie: The Valentines Day movie for stalkers... this means you Tif!

Plot: Watch Amelie, an adorable and naive girl living in Paris, as she attempts to help the love lives of those around her and intern finds some lovin' of her own.

Why you'll love it: This film was nominated for 5 Oscars for good reason... it's amazing. It has a very indie european look to it and it's the perfect movie for us nerd girls who secretly wish we could be drifters, gypsies and masked mystery women. Admit it!

Prepare for: The urge to cut your hair into a chic Parisian bob and subtitles. It's french :)

Now wasn't that fun! Don't forget to look for the rest of the series coming about every day (I'm skipping Sundays I think) til Valentines!

  3. Ah, the most perfect Valentine's Day movie! Or, well, any day really. And the music is the best-I used to listen to the soundtrack over and over and over, until boyfriend bought me the sheet music for the piano pieces. LOVE. :)

Thanks for popping by my blog, too! I 'preciate it! ;)

  4. Nice series :) Amelie is definitely one of my favourite films. I never get tired of watching it. Have you seen other films by the same director? He is pretty good.
